Much needed update - birth and more.

It's been a while since an update.

AWS is now 19 1/2 months old.

And we welcomed little miss Peyton into our family.

Peyton Chevelle was born Feb. 28th at 10:32 AM. I labored at home with mild contractions for about two days at 4 - 5 minutes apart. After one trip to the hospital and deciding to go home to labor there some more... I woke up on Monday with contractions still the same time apart but getting more intense. My husband left for PT and they continued. When he got home it was decided to go to the hospital. Before going to the hospital we dropped off my mom's rental car she had for the weekend. The contractions became more and more intense and harder to breathe through... some were even closer together. At the hospital I was discovered to be at a 4 pr 5 and it was decided to keep me. I waited for a room and decided to have IV pain medication to take the edge off the contractions. I still stuck to my decision not to have an epidural. I was admitted around 9 AM. When we made it to the room and after I had the IV started I was at a 9. After that reality started fading in and out... the IV pain medication made me trip out really bad. I remember having to push suddenly. They had to rush to get the doctor. I had to stop pushing because there was meconium and they had to suction it out. Peyton was born at 10:32 AM. I remember looking at her and just being amazed... and confused. She was so perfect and beautiful.

Austin is adjusting to being a big brother. He gives Peyton kisses and wants to cuddle with her. He also has a fit when anyone but my husband or I touch her... He has a new sudden interest in pacifiers though, I'm guessing from seeing Peyton with them.

And now begins our adventure with two children. My husband is leaving really soon for his deployment training... We will be apart for 3 - 4 weeks (it could be 2 but I doubt that). It'll be tough but we'll make it.

And now some photos:
