Last night falling asleep was tough. I didn't want to sleep because the next day I'd wake up and that would mean it was real. He was really gone. I didn't want to accept it. I also missed him being with me at night. Him hogging the bed and covers. I don't know where he is right now. I don't know how he's doing. I also don't know when I will hear from him. Just a waiting game I suppose. I'm making an effort to blog to pass time. AWS has been put to bed and Pey has passed out for now.
Today I went to the thrift store with my friend. I picked up some crib sheets, blankets, some clothes for the kids, slippers for AWS. Didn't really need to... but it was fun and inexpensive. I also learned what happens when AWS is on his "backpack" in a closed environment while shopping. Picture him on his hands and knees... pulling. We also had naptime, dinner, a brief walk, and some playtime outside. With a bath to top it all off.
We were able to add another link to our link chain counting up to Daddy's return. And another sticker to our chart.
