I Live! No worries!

I know it has been way too long since my last update.

I try to limit my time online, and keep busy lately. So don't think I'm ignoring you all or something... and I am alive.

We are 135 days into deployment. Although as of right now, we are beginning day 136.

 

We also made it through another week... and honestly, I've lost track of how many weeks... I could figure it out if I looked at older blog posts and added it all up... but tonight I'm not really up for that.

We are into the month OCTOBER!

Which means 4 months down! HOORAY! 

Our estimated halfway mark is this month, which is pretty fantastic if you ask me... all this time counting UP all the days, we'll be able to start counting DOWN! The "over the hump" halfway party is also this month. I'm volunteering for the planning at the moment, and won't divulge any details. If you are a part of the battalion and the FRG you will see the day of the party... if not, I'm sure pictures will be shared. 

I don't have any other reason for my disappearance, except to tell you "it happens". 

Although we've spent the last handful of days sick together. Pey started it, gave it to AWS, and then to my sister, and I caught it last - taking care of all of them. It's pretty unfair if you ask me... to be taking care of everyone, and no one to take care of you. Oh well. Such is motherhood I suppose. 

Since my last update we decided to add fish to our household. (Despite having a few losses.)

 AWS really likes them, he calls them "shish".

We also adopted a new little kitten since our last one has been missing over 2 months.

She's cute huh? Her name is Mischief.

AWS likes her.

I also found out I'll be an aunt. No worries though, it's not Jessica. I won't say who it is on my blog because I don't know if she's open to that.

But other than that.. I don't really have anything else to report on.

and I also wonder why I bought a bookcase... I should have just stuck with a bin vs. a shelf where they could be organized and everything. HA.

I will try not to take 4 weeks until my next update.
