The 80th Day - mail calls.

We are on the 80th day of deployment - better than what we started with.

Tuesday I received our books I ordered from B&N (as previously blogged about). Wednesday I received my Beco baby carrier (which I'll blog a review about at a later date). And today I received the amber necklace I ordered from my daughter (in hopes it will ease her some during this time of teething) and a headband I won in an auction that my friend makes.

Beco, headband, and amber necklace pictured.
Bean Sprout Boutique is a business run by a military wife friend of mine. She has started out making these beautiful headbands, and is now expanding to more bow options as well. Her funds go towards a rescue she runs. Animals can be expensive, and the funds help her in providing for her rescued animals. Towards a great cause. And the headbands are so affordable. Not to mention, beautiful and well made.
Amber teething necklace ordered from the Art Of Cure - via Amazon. It came so quickly.
At this point, I'm willing to give it a try in helping ease some of my daughter's pain while teething. It closes with a screw clasp, and each of the beads are knotted individually. So if the necklace does happen to break, the beads won't go everywhere and pose a choking hazard. Amber necklaces are not designed for the baby to actually chew on, the amber against the skin will sooth the pain. I'm a bit skeptical I admit, but after many screaming nights and little to work... I'm willing to try.

Isn't it so pretty?! I've already taken it for a "ride" too. Yesterday we went to the exchange & commissary, walked there actually.. and I wore my daughter the entire time. So comfortable. I'll blog my review on it at another date.

I love getting mail that isn't bills. And wonderful items I ordered online. It makes me so excited.

Tonight is FRG night. I've started training our beast of a dog to be inside more. I sealed two packages to send my husband's way. My kids are down to rest, so I thought I'd get a blog out of the way.

AWS having a blast playing with a bubble machine I bought him.

Until another day (or time).
