Month TWO Down! Into Month Three We Go.

 Our month signs during deployment.
June and July happily torn up.
But we kept the flags from July's banner.

It's August. Which means another month down in this deployment. Which means it's no longer singular, but plural. "Months" verses "month. Can't wait to get through each and every month.
We're about finished with day 63.
About to barely begin day 64.

We have 63 chains running along our wall in our hallway.

A gold star, only found on links that mark completed months.

And 62 stickers on our chart.

I'm feeling better today. I am pretty over feeling ill and nauseated, thank goodness. I was able to function for the day, with only a slight bit of pain leftover. I went to the exchange to add warranties to my husband's laptop and my new camera. I also picked up some RoseArt 24 pack crayons for 10/$1. I'm not a HUGE fan of RoseArt crayons, but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. And I figure the kids will have plenty among themselves at AWS's birthday bash. Plus some other odds and ends were purchased. AWS was ready for his ICEE I usually get him, he went right to the stand that sells them... He knew what he wanted and where it was! We picked up some items at the commissary as well. Naptime came and went, I made some service requests to housing. Went to the park with my friend, tinkered with my new camera, and we had dinner at her house after the park. After AWS went to bed I baked cupcakes for the first time! They are so cute. They are for his birthday tomorrow.

Fresh out of the oven! I thought they were so cute.
The cupcakes for tomorrow.
Another angle.
 Beginning of the decorating.
 Nom nom.
Mirror pictures with the new camera.
Tinkering with the new camera, spinner outside of our home.
Flowers in our yard after the re landscaping.
Tinkering with the zoom, shot from the park bench I was sitting on.
 Pey zonked out.
 To the park we go!
Zooming in on Austin, how he likes to swing.
 Peyton on the move!
Exploring grass.

Glad the month of July is over. These two months feel like it's been an eternity though. It's been two months since I've been able to kiss you, hold you, touch you, and just enjoy every minute with you. I miss you so very much. Come home soon and safe to me.

- Rayne.
