Oh Where Has Rayne Been?! - Day 111 in Deployment.

Oh I'm terrible I know... I haven't updated my blog for too long. Where does time go?
Anyways. Here is the break down.
9/18/2011 - we are on day 111, with 111 links down our hallway and 110 stickers on our deployment chart. We have 15 weeks down (more like 15 1/2). And we are 3 1/2 months down.

 Link, before adding today's.

New chart, the other was... uhh... it's gone. Anyways. Before adding today's sticker.

Now I don't have a perfect excuse as to why I haven't blogged. Besides the excuse I'm human. I'm a mom, what can I say?

I was delivered the news that my husband's grandma passed away on Friday. She was a wonderful woman. I'm glad I was able to meet her, and she was such a sweetheart and had a real personality. I know my husband was close to her and he's coping now... I imagine it's hard for his family back home too. I'm glad she was able to come out here when Peyton was born and see both of the babies. I'm glad she's not suffering anymore. I know she's at peace.

Today I was able to talk to my husband when we woke up. He's doing okay. I distracted him from stress with things that the kids are doing nowadays. Peyton is a crawling and climbing machine. She likes Cheerios. She can pester her brother so much... she'll crawl her happy butt down the hall to get to his room and play with him. She also says "mom mom" and said "da da" the other day. We are potty training Austin right now. He's doing pretty good with it so far. He's a bundle of energy as usual. He's attached to Mommy mostly. He'll count "2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3...". He's dinosaur obsessed at the moment. I'm getting along. Deployment sucks for me. I get out when I can. My sister and I haven't killed each other just yet.

With that said. I'll give you what you're really here for... photos.

Photos of digital cami purse I redid.

Little ribbon rosette headband I threw together.
Wearing the headband and my huge sunglasses. Which I like.
And everything looks classier in black and white.

WIP diaper cake, out of diapers Peyton never wore.

Chocolate cupcakes mmmmm...

Evidence of Peyton pestering her brother while he tries to sleep. Poor Austin.
It's attack of the vampire fairies.
 He loves to read.
My beautiful girl.
Making a crinkle face, and a profile view.
 Jumperoo = $5 find = win.
 Austin knocked out.
Peyton's dinner earlier : sweet potatoes and banana she mashed all over.
A serious look, and smiles. (:

Until another update. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
- Rayne.
