Today was the first day of September. Which means the start of another month, making 3 months done of deployment. Roughly, give or take 1/3 of the way done. Our chain links grows longer and longer with every passing day. My friend's is so much longer than mine, despite her husband leaving the same day. Our sticker chart is running out of room and our toddler terror has released his inner artist over it a few times, - it has plenty of marker and pen doodles on it. We are finishing day 93. And as of yesterday I have endured 13 weeks of deployment.
So to break it down. Month 3. Day 93. Week 13.
Today I had Austin's friends over, my friend's girls. I deconstructed a cami blouse and pants for my friend's purse I'm making. I managed to get some sewing done with my new machine - redid one of my cami purses. I've been trying to get the house arranged, and organized, and in a more attractive state. Peyton is a crawling machine. Austin is full of so much energy, and always chattering away. I miss my husband. He's doing okay. My sister and I haven't killed each other. We never found our kitten, and I miss her so badly. I want to save a little one from the shelter sometime, but I think my husband will not be so pleased with the idea of that. I've been training his beast of a dog. I'm going to look into taking some classes and getting some school done while I can - which intimidates me. I would like to be more involved with our unit and get involved in events and whatnot if the opportunity arises. And my daughter turned 6 months old.
But enough of me going on and on... We're all getting by.
Deconstructed cami uniforms.
My purse out of a blue digital cami blouse that I decided to redo after shredding it. With little rosettes.
My new machine. And it works fantastically.
Peyton hiding out under her walker.
My little artist - painting to his heart's content.
My littles, watching "My Neighbor Totoro", well Peyton mostly just tried to cuddle and jump her brother for toast.
Peyton siting up on her own. She's growing so quickly.
Until another update.
- Rayne.
