I feel the urge to, and I go with it.
Today I went to the free food distribution that my base has with my friend. Afterwards, I took the kids out to walk to the post office and that surrounding area. We sent out two care packages for my husband.
He'll be so happy. (:
Yum yum. Care package #1 inside.
Care package #2 - LOTS of yummies!
Detail.
So cute.
All ready to go!
We went to the exchange and I picked up some super cute outfits on clearance for the kids, a play mat for our patio because Miss Peyton picks blankets she's laying on up and then rolls with them, a Frog pillow pet for Austin's birthday next month. He has pointed the pillow pets out EVERYTIME. Once we saw the frog, it had to be his.
The "load".
Frog!
He was also treated to an ICEE, which made him really happy. When we got home, naptime. I realized in the exchange that he did not have his Daddy photo book with him... even after retracing all of our steps all the way home it was not found. I feel horrible, even though I know kids lose things sometimes. He had been carrying it around for the last two days. Even seeing photos with him carrying it is breaking my heart. Rearranged the patio and filled the plastic pool for playtime sometime. Spaghetti for dinner.
And that pretty much ties it up.
Nom spaghetti.
our backyard.
Yesterday was Parent's Night Out that our CDC offers once a month. AWS was so excited to go. He only cried a little when I dropped him off. Peyton and I were invited out to dinner with a friend of mine and her friends. It was nice to be out with adults. We had good food, I was full afterwards. It was also nice to talk to people about parenting issues. I was a whole two minutes late picking him up from the center, so I have to pay $2 on Monday when they open because I didn't carry cash on me that night.
About to go to Parent's Night Out.
So cute (and his book)
Peyton.
I'm ready Mom!
Peyton looking incredibly adorable.
at BJs.
I'm so ready for my sister to come out. I'm hoping it will make life easier for me. I'm glad she'll be able to spend time with Austin and Peyton. She hasn't seen Austin since he was 9 months old and hasn't even met Peyton yet.
I found these dominoes and recon'd them into this little felted pieces.
For sensory, matching, and who knows what else.
I like these Mom.
We're about halfway through this month. Even closer to another month down.
I'm so ready to see my husband again.
Another day down.
- Rayne.
